Iron Mountain Hot Springs
Iron Mountain Hot Springs is situated on a scenic slope overlooking the Colorado River in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Since its opening in 2015, visitors come to to relax, restore and rejuvenate in the geothermal waters. Guests also have the option to cool off in a fresh-water pool or beneath outdoor showers during the warmer months, as well as enjoy a casual meal.
The property’s 16 geothermal soaking pools differ in shape, temperature and experience. No two are the same. There are pebble-bottomed reflexology pools, a heart-shaped pool for romantics, soaking areas that feature infinity views, another with a waterfall—guests are encouraged to try them all. Iron Mountain Hot Springs pools range from a warm 99°F to a toasty 108°F (37 – 42°C). The serene natural ambiance is further enhanced by the soothing sounds of spa music.
Children and those who want to take a break from the heat of the soaking pools can transition to the family, area where a large, freshwater pool offers a cooling respite and a place for youngsters to splash. An attached and elevated jetted spa makes an ideal perch to for adults to watch children play.
Iron Mountain Hot Springs allows guests to enjoy alcoholic beverages while soaking and encourages them to drink responsibly. All beverages come in pool-safe containers. Guests can also stop in at the Sopris Café for a bite to eat.
Men’s, ladies’ and family changing rooms are beautifully appointed and feature keyless lockers and complimentary premium shower amenities.
