Glenwood Hot Springs Resort
For over 130 years, visitors have been coming to the historic Glenwood Hot Springs Resort in the mountains of Colorado to relax in the geothermal water, known as the world’s largest hot springs pool. In addition to soaking, the resort offers visitors a family-friendly setting for diverse activities, including spa treatments, a fitness center, an adventure-themed play area, lodging and dining.
The resort’s Therapy Pool is a toasty 104°F (40°C) and ideal for restorative soaking; the larger pool, which is approximately 93°F (34°C), is the length of a football field and features plenty of area for splashing, playing, swimming laps and diving. The Sopris Splash Zone is family-oriented, with a fast-moving river ride, two wading pools, gentle waterfalls and a splash pad fountain.
Guests can relax on complimentary loungers arranged poolside or can recline on the lawn beneath mature trees. Pergolas throughout the property provide dappled shade and for those who desire more privacy, cabanas are available to rent.
Spa of the Rockies, the resort’s award-winning spa, is located in the historic red sandstone bathhouse and offers wellness-focused guests a comprehensive menu of services, with premium spa products sourced from around the globe. Also in the bathhouse is the Athletic Club, a high-end fitness center that caters to those 18 and older with exercise classes, a cardio balcony, weight room, steam room and sauna.
Resort guests staying at the Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge enjoy complimentary admission to the hot springs and a delicious full breakfast served in the poolside restaurant.
